We are grateful that Florida has been spared the major impacts of Dorian, while we recognise that others were not as fortunate.

The preparations we made for Dorian can now be of benefit to others. We know that many of you gathered supplies that were not used.

Let's support our brothers and sisters in the Bahamas by sending these critically needed items to those on the islands. In partnership with our mother denomination, the Church of the Nazarene, we are delighted to have secured cargo space headed straight to the Bahamas. Here is a list of items we are collecting:

· Blankets and Sheets
· Insect Repellent
· Non Perishable Food Items (Dried goods, Canned, Manual Can openers)
· Solar Lights and Lamps
· Flashlights and Batteries
· First Aid Kits
· Baby Supplies (Diapers, Bottles, Wipes, Formula)
· Kitchen Items (Pots, Plastic Dishes, Cutlery, Garbage Bags, Bleach)
· Feminine Hygiene Products
· NEW, IN PACKAGE undergarments and socks for all ages

You can drop items at Faith community Church, (3450 CR210, St Johns) until NOON Monday September 16th.

Items can be left inside the door if open or outside our front doors if closed. People will regularly be monitoring these donations.

If you wish to make a monetary contribution, we fully endorse Nazarene Compassionate Ministries, who have a long track record of delivering aid and resources to those who need it most.  100% of your gift will go to those in need with ZERO dollars spent in administration costs.
